Time: When Project SEEDS was originally launched.

Place: Across space.

Persons: Only Rem, as it is her diary.

Notes: I just felt I should be doing something, and this was the most I could come up with at the time. If anyone wants me in a thread, feel free to let me know. I check my account at least once a week if not more.

Today was the day the ships known as Project SEEDS was launched. We had no other choice.

I am Rem Saverem and this is my log for my occurances on this SEEDS ship.

Our launch went perfectly today and we are on our way to the relocation site. None of the other ships have reported any problems.

I've never thought about how small a single person is in comparison to the world. On this ship, surrounded by nothing but space, with all the lives we're to relocate, one can't help but see how small they really are. The crew of people expected to ensure the SEEDS' survival is almost non-existant percentage-wise on this ship. We're responsible for so many lives, yet we're insignificant. If something were to happen to any one of us, the project could fall into jeopardy. Out here, with little to nothing else to do, things all fall into perspective. One can tell how much impact they have on things around them and what their true worth is.

It's in times like these that the human race can really appreciate what they have gained and achieved in their lives. Of course, I wouldn't wish this particular experience on everyone; it
is quite a strenuous one, but if every person had the chance to place their lives in the correct light, they might be able to function more peacefully together. When did we, humans, as a species, lose sight of the most important things in life? When technology progressed to the point it has? When the first weapons were used against one another? Or does it go back to the first invention of fire? It's impossible to tell, but one thing remains true: It is never plausible for someone to take the life of another. I only hope that as this mission continues, we can retain our minds and stick to this belief.
